Meenu Bhambhani is the VP, Global Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (GIDE), at State Street. She is a CSR & DEI professional with over two decades of experience in the area of human development with specialisation in social policy. In her current role, she is responsible for GIDE Consultancy across State Street globally. Prior to joining State Street, Meenu spent over a decade at Mphasis, a global IT conglomerate leading CSR and Diversity &Inclusion where she was instrumental in creating opportunities that provided high profile recognition opportunities for their programs especially around addressing systemic challenges to disability inclusion. Her early career was spent working with the World Bank and non-profit sector on research and disability advocacy. She is an alumunus of International Ford Foundation Fellowship and holds a Masters in Disability and Human Development from University of Illinois at Chicago. She strongly self-identifies herself at many intersections of disability – professional, woman and South Asian origin Indian with a disability.
She is well recognized nationally and internationally with prominent recognitions being President’s National Award in the category of Best Individuals Promoting Employment Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities in 2010; received special recognition at NASSCOM for Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion; Received APAC Disability Award in Marketplace Category for Innovative Programmes in Disability Inclusion through CSR. Most recently she was the finalist for Community Business’ D&I Campion of Change Award, 2022.
