All Women Band

performance by WeBhor, an initiative by Manzil Mystics Foundation

Manzil Mystics is a Delhi based choir band, Institute as well as Nonprofit/NGO striving towards social inclusion through their self-composed music in Indian folk fusion form.

Using an innovative and uncanny structure, Manzil Mystics gain a strategic advantage by bringing in synergies of Music Learning Institute, a performing Music Band and a Social initiative in Education for underprivileged sections of the society. We use music as a creative tool to contribute to the needs of society. Manzil Mystics has been working in the field of education, music and development for the last 7 years, using music as an active instrument of change. Education, Gender and Livelihood are the three main domains we work in.

WeBhor is an initiative by Manzil Mystics Foundation which aims to create safe, brave, and inclusive spaces for adolescent girls and women from low-income communities. The programme uses music as a medium of awareness to expand knowledge and discuss sensitive topics such as menstruation, reproductive health, sexual violence, gender sensitization, social-emotional well-being, women’s rights, etc. which are often considered taboo in our society.

An integral part of WeBhor is its ‘All Women Band‘ with the same name. A group of talented female musicians from the middle and lower income backgrounds, WeBhor band writes, sings and performs songs on women empowerment and gender equality. WeBhor band has performed for various platforms like – Plan India, Malva Mahila Kabir yatra. Shenomics, Radio Nasha, NAB Foundation, Aspire for Her, Anjan TV etc.
